A Warm Welcome.

One of my favorite things about fall is having friends and family over.. whether it is for dinner... coffee and pie, or some type of holiday gathering.

It brings me such joy to fill my house with the scent of pumpkin, apples or vanilla.. and to have my front door decorated for the season...


These are just a few examples of some lovely wreaths I found... I hope they bring you a little inspiration and perhaps even a little warmth....

Pumpkin Pie Is In The Air.

Is that not the best scent EVER? We can have this scent, thanks to dear Martha, without actually baking.. How?

Carve your pumpkin like so. Rub the inside with cinamonn, pumpkin pie spice,or both. You can even press cloves into the top.. Add a t-lite candle and you have six hours of divine.

Fall Is In The Air.

What is it about fall that makes the sunshine look different? It has been a lovely 68 degrees in my home town for the last few days. Though I was sad to say goodbye to summer, I have to admit I am looking forward to the wonderful things that autumn brings...

Baking and the smell of apples, vanilla and cinamonn from the kitchen.

Outdoor dinners on evenings in which the air is cool yet the sunshine still warms your face.


Merlot and cherries by a warm fire.
