I have found myself swooning over this delightful color lately.

This has to be my favorite color combination... Neutral taupe with the perfect amount of black, white and a small splash of gray.


Like fashion, interior trends change with time.

Right now I am loving bold colors such as purple and apple green.
And believe me, I have been tempted more than once to repaint certain rooms in my home with this green I seem to be infatuated with as of late.

However, for the sake of longevity, I am standing by the classics.

I plan on making the best of every minute of my day tomorrow. I need the sunshine. Even just a hint of spring will do. I am going to go to the market for a gourmet coffee and then slowly browse the stands for herbs to plant.

Then I want to take my darling girls for a walk in the sun and hear their sweet laughter.

So, the landscaping part of our home is about to begin.
I am so excited.
We've gone through so many catalogs and books coming up with a strategy.
The plant I am most looking forward to is my lemon tree.


I went shopping for some garden tools the other day and was not too successful as the unexpected snow ruined it for me..

Instead I bought this.
