Just Because.

I am seeing more and more trunks used in decor. Pottery Barn shows them being used as coffee tables, etc.
I like that idea okay, in the right room. But I'm not going to be searching for a trunk anytime soon.

As far as that goes, I prefer vintage luggage. I have a Samsonite set that I purchased at a yard sale for $10 that I just adore.

I do however, like this trunk which has been used as a bedside table.



It fits the relaxed feel of the room.

The room feels light, airy, and not overdone. It seems as if the trunk has been placed there not because it's "in" right now, but just because.

Which is almost always the best reason.
