April Showers.

Without a doubt, spring is my favorite time of year.

The snow melts away to unveil life again.

The birds sing.

The sun is warm.


I have put together a few things that I have found to try or that I already have and want to share.

First of all this picture says alot. The simplistic beauty of flowers- fresh flowers in the house can bring such a breath of fresh air, and a bit of soaked up sunlight. It's easy to think fresh flowers need displayed full and perfectly. But to me, these few beauties placed in simple jars, are perfect. There is nothing like taking a walk, picking flowers, and bringing them indoors to enjoy.

I have so many fond memories of Easter's past.

The egg hunts.

A new dress and white gloves to cover my colorfully dyed fingers.

And best of all, my Easter basket.

I highly recommend however, this is done with porcelain eggs. So they can be used for years to come.

I bought this movie to watch with Brad and the girls. It is narrated by Fred Astaire. It's a classic and if you want an instant childhood flashback, I highly recommend this as well.

And last but certainly not least, here is a picture of darling Madison in 2004. No way would she let me put that much pink on her now! ;)
